Well I have completed my first week of school and boy am I exhausted. Every year I forget how much energy that first week takes. Top that off with insomnia and you have one tired girl. I am excited about this year and my class. They seem like a wonderful group of kids and by Friday I was starting to see their personalities shine through. I am also excited that next week we start a semi-normal schedule. I love diving into things and really getting to know the kids. I am sharing some photos of my classroom this year!

Glad your first week went good! What district do you teach in? I am jealous you have walls we are open concept. We start on Monday.

Classroom looks great! Brings back good memories, I always loved the first day of school.
Reading through your other posts, I love the swimming pictures. I'm trying to get as many of those with my baby girl as I can. Something about sumemrtime and pools are great photos to me!

I will be praying that you are able to get some sleep! I can imagine how important that is! I bet you are a great teacher and I think I would really like to teach. I know this might sound funny, but I love the smell of elementary schools!! I hope you have a fantastic second week!
