A few weeks ago, we were able to attend Emma's adoption/bithday celebration. She turned two and is just a month older than Logan even though he calls her a baby. It has been so exciting to watch Logan wait for Emma to come home. He adores Emma's sister Kaylei so when we found out final travel arrangements, we started talking to him about Emma(or Elmo as he called her for the first few weeks). He followed along on their blog and would tell people that Kaylei was in China to get Emma. He was so excited the first Sunday he got to meet her at church and for the most part he is very gentle with her(more than I can say about his relationship with his baby sister). Emma is adjusting and is finally starting to interact with Logan.
Days before Emma's party, Logan would walk around singing Happy Day Emma(this is his version on Happy Birthday) and he is still singing it. They had a wonderful party and Logan was happy to be a part of Emma's celebration.
