Madison with her new Christmas Doll from Aunt Court

Logan hugging his hooded towel that Aunt Court gave him.

Looking at his scrapbook
The weekend before Thanksgiving, we got together with my dad's side of the family. As a tradition with his family, when we get together my aunt makes Tamales. This is a nice break from the typical holiday fare. Everyone else brings items to share and no one goes home with an empty stomach. Logan proved that he is an official member of the family by tasting and enjoying these yummy treats!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Saturday morning, Logan and I are headed to a Breakfast with Santa and on Sunday we are going caroling at the nursing home and assisted living with our church.
Update on Tyler- My parents went to the hospital yesterday to see Tyler. He is still hooked up to a lot of machines, but he is responding to yes and no questions and continues to heal. They are prepared for a long recovery, but are thankful for the recovery process. I saw pictures of the car he was in and it was truly a miracle that he made it out alive. Thank for the continued prayers.

Looks like you have a full weekend ahead. Enjoy every moment with your special little guy.
Funny that your post should be about tamales. My third grader had to read to me Thursday night a story about tamales that a family was making for a family gathering.
You are such a good auntie! Cute pictures!
You are such a sweet and thoughtful aunt! I wish my sister and my husbands brother were more active in being an aunt and uncle. But, on a positive note that just means when they have children I need to make a big effort to love on them! Have a great weekend.
aw those photos are adorable - I particularly like the one of him looking at his scrapbook - love the fact that it's bigger than him - lol!!
What cute pics and that scrapbook looks incredible!
I love the photo of Logan with his scrapbook! Such an amazing treasure. I love your blog redesign for Christmas!
