I No Like Eggs

I have lots to share about our weekend, but that will have to wait until I go through all the pictures (261 to be exact).  Last weekend, Logan and I colored Easter eggs. This was the first year we did this and he had a blast.  A few weeks earlier we were at the store and Logan got to pick out his dye pack. He chose the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, which is one of his favorite new shows. He kept asking when we were going to "make those egg". Finally the time came and it was the perfect way to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon.

Logan helped to mix the colors then he started throwing the eggs in the cups. This led to a lesson on how to gently put the eggs into the dye. Overall he did a wonderful job. He really enjoyed putting the stickers on the eggs. He kept telling me that he was going to eat the egg and would try to take a bite shell and all. My dad finally showed him how you peel and eat an egg. Logan's response "I no like those eggs". Oh well at least we had fun coloring them and my dad enjoyed eating them!

Showing off the eggs (I'm not sure if I could hold the eggs like this)

Super cute!
Logan is a doll! So you can relate to Bo dying those eggs probably. I remember the first year dying eggs with my daughter & I was showing her how to be so careful but her little hands just kept digging in the dyes to get the eggs out. So good job with Logan!!! I LOVE your bright coffee cups too!

So sweet. You're such a good Aunt doing so many fun things with your nephew. Those Mickey Mouse ears are the perfect touch to your special day together. I can't believe how many pics you took. Ok. I'm feeling guilty. Hugs!!

How old is he? He did such a great job with dying his eggs. We tried to get Lauryn involved with the egg dying and she was not interested what so ever. She's 2.

Jack loved dying the eggs but didn't want to eat them either. It was such a fun time for us. He played with those eggs for days - until all of them cracked:) Glad you guys had such a special time!

We had to skip the egg dying this year but yours turned out great. We did enough last year to hold us over I guess. Have a great week!
