Today is my official first day back to school, kids will be in on Wednesday. This time of year is always met with joy and sadness. I am always excited to get my room ready and meet my new students but I am going to miss my summer schedule. I think Logan is going to miss it to because tonight he said "Court not go back to school, you stay home and play with me." I will miss our summer playtime and outings but already have fall activities that I am planning for Saturdays.
I love getting my room ready every year and decorating it a different way. This year I did polka dots and it has been so much fun and very inexpensive thanks to my trusty Cricket. I hope you enjoy the glimpse into my world for about 9 months out of the year.

Your polka dots are adorable. Best wishes with the transition back to work. I'm not looking forward to the return of faculty and students at my University. I just wanted to hang onto my summer schedule alittle bit longer. Hugs.
What an adorable room -- LOVE your polka dots! I'm sure your students are so excited! Also sure that your summer schedule will be dearly missed, but you are the sweetest to already have fall activities planned! Hope you have a great school year. Maddy starts back on Thursday and is excited for 3rd grade!

Your classroom is REALLY nice! Newer school? I love the theme you chose. I gotta tell ya- looking at your pictures ALMOST makes me want to go back to work!! I loved getting my classroom ready- that was something I looked forward to every year. I hope you have a GREAT group of kids come in on Wednesday!
So cute!! Your room looks very nice. I always think of how excited I was to decorate my room (when I taught preschool) this time of year. It is a lot of fun! I know your students are lucky to have you.
