Christmas Eve

I guess it is about time that I start posting about Christmas. I have been so busy and this is the first time I have had to really sit down and write a post.  The Christmas festivities have continued throughout the week and I still have my parents coming today and a party with friends tonight. I think I am going to need another week to recover from my two weeks off!

On Christmas Eve we always go with my grandma's side of the family. It is the same group we meet with for Thanksgiving plus or minus a few people. Christmas Eve is always casual with meat trays and lots of yummy snacks. We usually play games and have a ten dollar gift exchange. It is always lots of fun. Logan and Madison spent the time mingling and Logan is becoming quite the pool shark. He is loves hanging out by the pool table and playing or watching the big guys play.  Before we knew it, it was time to pack up and head home to get ready for Santa,

we played Apples to Apples too - it's so much fun, isn't it? I love playing it with girlfriends too!

The kids look adorable in their Christmas Jammies. Sometimes I think I want a Silent DAY more than a silent NIGHT..but maybe thats cause my kids sleep through the night :-)
