On A Roll

Every year my school PTO hosts a skating party for all the kids and family. I had invited Logan to come last year but thanks to some snow, it was canceled. Of course that was not the problem this mild winter, so the crew all came up for my skating party. Logan was so excited to see all those kids as he calls my students.

This was Logan's second time on skates and Madison's first.  Logan gave it a good try on regular skates but finally switched to the trainer skates so he could be more comfortable. We found out Madison is going to be our little skater. In fact, she loved it so much that she didn't want to leave and threw and kicking and screaming fit.

I am excited to be enjoying a LONG weekend this weekend, thanks to the lack of snow days. Today was one of the calamity makeup days, so since we didn't use it, we get to enjoy it. WOO HOO!
He spent a lot of time on the rail.

Doing the splits!

At first Madison started out like this.

Soon she was all smiles

How sweet is this?

Soon Logan met up with another little girl. Already holding hands with girls at the skating rink!

He got pretty good at it.

We ended the evening checking out the arcade.
