Safety First
The fire department in my hometown, puts on a safety day on a Sunday in June. We try to go every year because Logan enjoys checking out all the equipment. We ate out lunch then headed over to the parking lot next door to check out everything. It was super hot but that seems to be the story here this summer. Logan loves checking out the helicopters and of course spraying water from the water hose!

How fun! Josie would absolutely love exploring all this safety equipment. It's been one of those summers trying to make myself enjoy activities that are outdoors...but I'm in no way ready to think about school either!
What fun! Jake would have LOVED this! My Brooklyn doesn't really like firetrucks. She covers her ears. She thinks they are too loud! Ha!
How much fun is that experience for little kids! My Justin would have loved it.

Seriously how cool is that?! Lauren would love seeing the helicopters. That little house looks like what they had back in the day when I was little. I need to see if Chattanooga does something like this. It sounds fun!
Looks like your family is having a great summer filled with adventures! My kids loved safety days too, and they get to work the smoke house cuz of daddy being a fireman. And fabulous experience in the event of an emergency. Loved your VBS pictures also, those fruit activites are the best!
