The weekend before Christmas, I found an activity in town that I knew Madison would love. That girl is all about horses. The local feed mill (you know you live in a small town, when fun activities happen at the feed mill) hosted a horse day. They had snacks and the kids got to paint their own horse and play with the horse character that was dressed up. They also gave away a door prize and Madison won that. We had so much fun. I had another surprise for her. After we left there, we headed to the local theater to see Frozen. This was Madison's first theater experience and I thought this would be the perfect movie. We loved the movie. It was a fun girls day out!

My girls would have loooooved.horse day! And "Frozen" came out right around Ruby's birth so I cannot wait for it to come out on dvd so we can see it!!!
Happy belated birthday! I hope you are starting to feel better. Just in time to return to school. This break has just flown by. Josie would have loved all this activities related to horses. Did you know it's the year of the horse for Chinese New Year on January 31?
Sorry you were feeling icky on your special day. :( But so glad you were able to have a fun girls day with Madison. What a perfect 1st movie- we loved it too!

This horse thing is sooooo up Lauren's alley. I wish we had something like here. She is so into horses right now.
