Spring Fever

After a long winter, we are hoping that spring is just around the corner. Last weekend it was warm enough to venture outside to play. Logan and I started by feeding the sheep and ducks. These are the only animals left on the farm (except a few of the cows the neighbor bought) so I think we will be bonding with these animals this summer. That is fine with me since I spent 10 years in 4-H showing sheep. Logan loved the sheep and for the most part they didn't seem to mind him. Of course I think more hay got in his hair than the sheep actually got! After feeding the animals we got out the lawn chair ( for me) and the riding mower (for Logan) and enjoyed the March sunshine. Hopefully we will be able to spend more days outside as they grow longer and warmer. Hope everyone had a great weekend and is adjusting to the time change!
Checking each other out from a distance

A little closer
Finally got a hand in the pen!
The ducks are still on the fence about this kid, maybe a few more scoops of corn and stale bread will convince them otherwise.
So happy to be outside!

I find it amazing how we consider it spring when there is still a pile of snow!
A few tulips are popping up in the background, this means spring is just around the corner!

We've got dirty piles of snow here too. I'm just so happy to finally see grass. Looks like a fun day with Logan.
