Snow Much Fun

The snow has arrived and it looks like it is here today. I have a love/hate relationship with the white stuff. I love it because I get snow days, it is pretty, and fun to play in. I hate it when I have to shovel it, walk in it and drive in it. For the most part I try to embrace and deal with it. Logan is all about the snow this year and would spend hours outside playing in it. Give the boy a shovel and an empty baby wipe container and he will play for hours. BTW- the baby wipe container is perfect for making blocks for your snow house. We headed outside to shovel and play in the snow one day. While I was shoveling, I turned around and he was behind me in the grass throwing snow on the drive, I couldn't help but laugh!!!! From the way it looks, we are not the only ones dealing with the snow and at least here in Ohio we are prepared. It has been so much fun watching all you southerners out enjoying the snow.
Ready to shovel

Hard to  see but that is the snowman Logan built

Building snow blocks

He kept calling this pile of snow a moutain

Darling pics. That's a great idea about the baby wipes for building your snow fort blocks.

Glad to say here in south texas we rarely see the stuff. OKay to look at but I can barely handle the freezing 40-50 degrees with rain we have been having!

Looks like fun. Keep it in Ohio. We don't want anymore in NC! There are still patches of ice in spots! I like it for a bit, but bring on the warmer weather!

Great tip on the wipe container for blocks. The only stae without snow is Florida I was shocked that even Hawaii has it.

That is a great tip to make snow blocks out of baby wipe tubs. I'm going to have to save some for my kids to use in the snow. We got 10 inches of snow last weekend and it isn't melting any time soon. The temps here this week are single digits.
