Winter Vacation

It has been a long time since I have blogged. All I can say is if this years class does not kill me, they will make me stronger. Every so often you get that class that just wears you down-this is that class! Don't get me wrong I have some sweet ones but others are overshadowing the good. The countdown is on and there are 89 days left (give or take a few snow days). I hate that I am counting down but that is life and I am keeping it real!

Okay on to the fun stuff. A few days after Christmas, my parents decided to take Logan on a mini vacation to a local state park. Deer Creek is only about 20 minutes from my house so I decided to go up for the evening along with Logan's parents and Madison. It was beautiful at the park with the snow covered grounds and the cozy lodge. We went swimming and ate pizza, and had a really good time. Logan took the cot I got him for Christmas and loved sleeping on it.  It was a nice after Christmas break from all the hustle and bustle.
Hopefully I will get back in the blogger mode soon but if you don't see me for a while, know I am chasing 19 active 2nd graders or they have me tied up!

BTW- I have enjoyed watching all my southern friends fun adventures in the snow. When you live somewhere where snow is a winter staple, you sometimes forget the simple joys.

What a fun little winter getaway! Cute pictures!

I completely feel your pain! My one second grader could drive me to drink most days (and especially tonight). Hang in there!

I know what you mean about certain classes. Thankfully when I taught I had 5 or 6 classes a day, so I always had some challenging groups along with some fun ones. And counting down is just fine! Maybe start with counting down to Spring Break- it might make it easier! :)

Now that I am working in the school system, I see a few classes at school that would cause me to count down the days also. They say what doesn't kill you will only make you stronger. Hang in there!
