Someone Just Turned 25, It Wasn't Me!

Well typing that title got me thinking, would I go back to 25. I have to say the answer is no because I wouldn't be the person I am today. At 25 I was still living at home ( moved out the next year), I was still paying off college loans, and I wasn't an aunt! So I have to say I am happy where I am. That being said, my little brother turned 25 on March 8th. I think he had a lot of the same feelings that I did about 25. It bothered me way more to turn 25 than 30. I think it was the I am a quarter of the way to 100 that just really got me and I think Cory was thinking the same thing.

We had fun celebrating with a family dinner and cake, which Logan still reminds me I did not eat. The cake was great, I am just not really a huge chocolate cake fan (I know, I know, GASP). Logan was excited to get to decorate the cake with one of his John Deere tractors, which is what all 25 year olds want.

I have to say my brother has been through a lot in his 25 years but he has found his thing as a dad. He loves staying home with the kids and cooking and cleaning. I have to admit he has forced me to cook more and now couponing. I think it is still the competiton to be better that drives me! He rocked my world when he came into the world and I was no longer the only child at the age of 6 but he made up for that by giving me the opportunity to be an aunt to the two cutest little ones on the planet (not that I am biased)!

So proud of his cake decorating skills

Time to blow out the candles

I think they both think something in that card is for them

This is the best we could get of the three of them together

Hope your brother had a special day! I like looking back, but I agree I wouldn't want to go back to 25 I am happy and content just where I am in life!
