Madison's Vacation Part 1

Last week Madison and I had a little staycation at home. The rest of the family went on vacation and we stayed behind to have a little girl time together. I had so much fun with her and I think she had some fun to.  We had a great success, she is fully broken from the pacifier. It was really easy, she asked once and I told her I didn't have it and that was the end of that!

I got her Saturday evening and we had dinner and some playtime outside.  She began to figure out the maze through my apartment due to all the baby gear.Sunday morning we got up and got ready for church and I am proud to say, we even got their early. We spent Sunday at my grandma's and then that evening, we went to picnic. The picnic was for my co-workers that I worked with at my previous school. Madison left their covered with dirt and all sweaty, I think this means she had a good time. Funny story- the superintendent and his wife were there, and Madison made fast friends with them. In fact they were such good friend, she felt she could swipe pieces of fruit off their plates. I told everyone that if I don't have a job next year, it is Miss Madison's fault!

We came home and I stuck her in the bathtub and she was ready for bed. I am not going to lie, I was ready for bed to!

I have a little request for you guys. My family is going through a rough time right now. Logan and Madison's mom kicked my brother out of the house yesterday and is threatening my family that we will never get to see "her" kids again. Those of you who know me, know that I am devastated right now. I have cried a fair amount of tears the past two days, but most of all my heart is breaking for the kids.  Please just say a little prayer for us, that things will work out. Thank you.

Oh, Courtney, I cannot imagine how you are feeling right now. So scary to even THINK about not seeing these precious kiddos on a regular basis. I'll be praying that the situation resolves itself SOON!!! Keep us posted!
