Goal!

We entered a new phase in life, soccer! This fall, Logan decided to give soccer a try. He had his first game on my first day back to work, but I wasn't about to miss it. For some reason his soccer association does practices on Saturday and games on Monday. It is about an hour drive for me so I haven't made it to too many games since then. It is so funny to watch 3 and 4 year old play soccer. I also counldn't get over how seriously parents take this sport at such a young age. Come on folks, some of them only learned to walk about 2 years ago!

Funny story- The Sunday before his first game, I was quizing Logan about playing soccer and asked him if he was the goalie. His response was what was the goalie do?  Well first position Logan played, goalie! It is not really his thing, at one point we looked over and he was tangled up in the goal. I think he is having fun. They are now working on being less aggressive, as in if you want the ball, you may not shove the other player out of the way! I hope this is something he will try again, as I feel they do get better with age.

Looks like you have been up to lots of fun!!

Some of my funniest memories are when my nephews first started playing basketball and t-ball!! So fun and entertaining! And, yes, some of the parents need to put things into perspective. (;

Hope you have a great week!

I totally agree about the parent thing when it comes to sports. Seriously crazy. Have a great week.

He looks so cute out there! They start them early with "real soccer" where you are. In Aaron's league, they just play 3 on 3 without a goalie. :) And I'm right there with you about the serious parents. Kind of sad. :(

I love this. Yes, some parents are craaazy! It's so wild. They think it's hardcore serious this young. I love all of the pictures. You are the best Aunt ever.
