Fall Hayride

Every year our church has a fall party and hayride. We were so thankful that this year we were not blown away by the crazy wind that we had last year. It was cold, but I think that is part of the fun! The kids had fun playing outside, roasting hot dogs and of course going on the hayride. We were riding back through the farm fields and were slightly startled by the men standing up in the tree stands looking for deer. I hate to tell that the deer were long gone once they heard our noisy group coming! We arrived back just before dark and we enjoyed ending the evening by making smores.

BTW- I am itching to put my Christmas stuff out but I am holding out until Tuesday night when I get out of school. So the question is when do you put your Christmas stuff out? My co-workers like to give me a hard time because they think I rush the Christmas stuff, but I love everything about the season and want to enjoy it as much as possible.

Logan was in heaven when the hostess brought out her boys old toys for him to play with!

Don't they look thrilled

Ready for the hayride

Bundled up and ready to go.

We took two hay wagons.

Ready to enjoy a smore.

LOVE fun hay rides. As far as Christmas goes, this year I'm getting a heads start, spending this weekend putting most of the decorations out. My goal is to have it all done by Thanksgiving! ;) Show some pics of your decorating when you're done, okay?

Great pics, Courtney. You always have the best adventures. It feels like I just got all the Halloween finally put away, but we are gearing up for Christmas decor next weekend. The girls can't wait!
