A Break In The Weather

At the end of February, we got a much needed break from the winter weather and we took full advantage of it.  The weather was in the upper 40's, which may not seem like much but after below zero temps it felt like summer.  We put on jackets and busted out the outdoor toys. It was muddy and a little chilly but it felt so nice. Of course it started snowing two days later but we made the most of it while it stayed around.  Logan and Madison had fun riding the four-wheeler, their bikes and Logan tried to teach Madison how to play Frisbee. It makes us look forward to much warmer weather, hopefully it comes soon!

I really can't believe that we are in the final nine weeks of school. I need to finish report cards and then I am hoping my schedule slows down. My teacher evaluation over and our final growth testing is done. This is my favorite time of year, since we really start to see students grow in their learning. I have a feeling once the spring weather finally sets in, we are going to have  a major case of spring fever setting in, it has been a long winter.

What fun pictures. Grass! Imagine that! I really hope the last of major snow storms are done for awhile. It's showing a warm-up for us near the end of the week. Chris has parent-teacher conferences this week at his school. He was busy writing IEPs this weekend.
