Happy Birthday To My Mom

Last night we celebrated my mom's birthday. I decided to have everyone over at my place for cake. We met at a local restaurant which has yummy food. My favorite is their broasted chicken, which they give you four pieces of plus too sides. Logan ate off my plate, plus everyone elses around the table. I am sure if Madison had been any closer she would have been sizing up my plate too. After dinner we decided to head out to my school for a little playtime on the playground.  Thank goodness it has cooled down for a few day so we can get a break from the heat.  After that we came back to my place, where were hit by the wall of heat as you walked in my door. I have been having trouble with my air conditioner and I think it has finally bit the dust. The maintence guy came over this morning and comfirmed that it has, so I will be getting a new one in about 2 weeks. I made a butterfinger cake using the recipe from here and was so good. I had it in the fridge which meant it was nice and cold, which hit the spot in the oppressive heat.  My mom opened her presents, with a little help from Logan and then we headed outside to cool off, how crazy is that. It was a good night. Hopefully next time they all come my house will be nice and cool.
