Logan and I took my grandma to
Young's Dairy Farm to spend the day. They have a nice restaurant and ice cream shop as well as lots of activities for kids and adults. We had a yummy lunch in the restaurant and they we headed out to explore the farm. We were there back in December so we had an idea of some of things that were there, but they have a lot more to do in the summer. Logan of course had to climb all of the tractors, but they were nice because the all had steps up to them, which saved me from lifting him up and down! We checked out the barn and the goats. Then we headed over to their play area. It was a great deal because for 3 dollars Logan got unlimited play time and it was fenced in so he couldn't go anywhere. He had fun going from activity to activity and I got to relax with my grandma on the sidelines. We spent about 2 hours in there and then Logan wanted to ride the wagons, so he did that. After all this fun playtime we had to stop for some of there yummy ice cream. I have decided that Logan and I must have similar taste in ice cream because he won't eat anyone elses but mine. He turned his nose up at my grandma's chocolate brownie sundae but was all about my fresh strawberry sundae! I'll admit I would eat fruit on my ice cream any day over chocolate. If you are ever in the area of Yellow Springs, Ohio, I would check this place out.
Yes-This is a manure spreader full of flowers. This kid has a fascination with manure spreaders and spotted this one as soon as we pulled in the driveway.

What a great outing! Not only was it fun, but also educational.
That does look like a really fun place! And for the record, I would never "spoil" my ice cream with fruit! Ha! Bring on the chocolate sauce. :)
