Thank You PBS!

PBS is a great channel with kid friendly shows and limited commercials, EXCEPT for 1. You know the one with the large mouse that lives at a fun place with lots of games and pizza. I must say, this place is pretty much a teachers nightmare! Last year there was talk of having Logan's birthday at Chuck E Cheese, luckily I was able to squash that idea (at least for another year). Well being the wonderful aunt that I am and maybe I had been out of school long enough, but I decided a trip to see he big mouse was in order, on my terms of course. The trip was to be on a weekday, during lunch and just me, Logan and my grandma ( and a bottle of Tylenol)! I figured under these terms I could bear it and I did. I have to say if you doubt how you are doing as a parent, a trip to CEC will make you think you are parent of the year because you are sure to find a child that is behaving much worse than your own children! Anyway we survived and had a great time. It was totally worth it seeing how excited Logan was, I think it was equal to the excitement of Christmas morning! It was nice because it was not crowded and Logan was able to do things independently because we had a great spot where we could keep an eye on him.

We get there and I turn on my camera only to realize I don't have my memory card, so I only got a few and they are not great quality but I wanted proof that I was there and survived!

You are a very brave Aunt. You can MAJOR brownie points for taking on such an activity. Josie has never been but I'm sure she would LOVE every second of it.

Doing it on your terms, vs. a b-day party (Lord have mercy!), is the way to go!! :)
