Exhausted

Somehow every year you forget how tiring that first week of school can be. I had full intent of blogging this week but time has slipped away and really all I want right now is some sleep. I had 3 days with students and I have to say so far so good. I have 25 little smiling faces greeting me everyday, so we are living in much closer quarters than I am used to. I have to say I have two favorite quotes from the week- 1. First grade really changed me! (this was on the first day of school)
2. You are the world's best teacher (wait till I give homework next week, that may change)!

I wish I had pictures of my classroom to share because it is oh so cute, but someone keeps forgetting to take her camera to school. They will come I promise. Overall I am counting this week as a success and I am praying I get that nap at some point this weekend! I just wish I could get back in the groove but I know that will come with time. So with that said, Have a GREAT WEEKEND!

Glad you made it through:) You will get back in the swing of things before long. I know it is tough those first few weeks. You have to build your endurance back up! Have a restful weekend!

We completed our first full week of school here and the girls and I are exhausted. So exhausted that Erica and Ashlin fell asleep last night at 8:00. Glad you survived the first week of class.

25 kids....I don't know how you do it! I've already learned first grade is no joke! A.J. had to tell me what a phonogram was! Good luck! I am sure it will get better as the kids get into their routine!
