As I flew in, I realized my lazy, fun summer days were coming to an end. I was sad because I felt like I still had so much to cram in and not enough time. I always feel like August is the lost month of summer because really in all reality, it is full of meetings and school prep. So any spare minute that was not spent at school, was spent having fun.
Logan had a pool day with me at the local pool. I didn't get many pictures because it was hot and we were busy playing. As I sit here typing, it is 40 degrees, man how quickly we forget that summer heat! This was Logan's first year to be old enough to do the slide and he loved it!

Summer went by too fast -- what fun - -- he looks like a natural on that slide! After that HOT summer, I am loving the cooler temps!

Sad how August has turned into a work month instead of a fun month, isn't it? The pictures and videos are great!! I, for one, am not missing that heat ONE BIT!! LOVING the fact that the kids have jackets hanging on the hooks by the door. :)
