Ohio State Fair

Wow it is hard to believe another Monday has almost come and gone. I also can't believe fall is just around the corner. Fall is my favorite season, so I am super excited. I have already bought my first pumpkin and made my first batch of homemade applesauce. I love that the weather is turning cooler and soon the leaves will start to change color. I also can't believe we have been in school a month already, wow!  Only one more month and my co-teacher will be back from maternity leave (I'm pretty she is not as excited as I am about that)!

Anyway back to the title of the post the state fair. I haven't been in years, in fact the last time I was there, I was an exhibitor. Yeah it' been a while. My mom wanted to this as part of her birthday celebration so we piled into my brothers fan and headed north to Columbus. We got there early and the crowds were really low. We rode the tram around the fair to see what they had then decided on what we wanted to tackle. We had lunch and then Madison decided to sleep on my shoulder for about an hour and a half. My dad and I hung out with her while everyone else went to check out some of the fair. When she got up we headed over to see the famous butter sculptures and watch some of the horse show. We ended the day with my brother getting a fried jello for everyone to try. Not my favorite but at least I can say I tried it. We headed out tired and sweaty.
