We continued the tradition we started last year by going skating and doing an early balloon drop. Logan also enjoyed meeting up with a little girl from his class. This is amazing since his school is about an hour away from my town. Logan loves having a few hours to skate and then he gets to count down the new year. We were home by 4 o'clock (party animals, I know)! We made homemade pizza that evening, and I also made little smokies and some dip so we continued the party at home. We both tried to stay up, but both fell asleep by 11! It was really the perfect way to spend the new year.
In each of the balloons they drop, there is a prize. Logan won a piece of pizza from the snack bar. Good thing he likes pizza since we had already planned to make some that night.

What a great way to celebrate the new year!
What a fun way to enjoy New Year's eve! I had a special Aunt that used to keep my sister and I overnight on New Year's eve. We loved our special time with her.
Thinking of you with this latest storm. My commute to work was wicked awful. I hope they can get the roads cleared up before buses need to go back out to schools.
