She found a friend and they were so sweet holding hands going around the rink together.

Trying To Beat The Winter Blues
This has felt like such a long winter. This crazy weather started in December and it hasn't really let up. Once again I was disappointed this weekend when things didn't go as planned thanks to snow. I had an awful drive home last night with blowing and drifting snow in the dark not a great combo. I made it home safe but had to peel my hands off the steering wheel. Oh spring you need to hurry up! A few weeks ago we had a good weather weekend, so I was able to get Madison and take her skating. She went skating once when she was little but hasn't really been on them since. I was a little nervous about how she would do, but she surprised me. Somehow the girl can't walk on her own to feet (she almost tripped on the sidewalk outside) but she is pretty good with the training skates. Maybe there is hope for her yet. She keep saying I'm going to practice and get really good so I can do the games. We had a fun afternoon at the skating rink and ended the evening with Mexican. By 7 she was nodding off on my couch while watching Disney Jr. She was more the ready for bed.

I totally agree with winter needing to go away. We haven't had the snow, but we have had the below zero temps for forever.
Also sick of winter - but a warmup is expected this week and I will send the warm sunshine your way!
What fun adventures you've had despite this miserably long winter. Another storm is brewing outside this evening. Enough already. We have some serious cabin fever at our house.
I completely feel your pain. I am sooo sick of winter! I hope spring gets here soon!
Love the skating pictures! So cute!
