Giveaway!

This post serves two purposes. I am going to tell you about a giveaway I am going to do on my blog and I will also tell you about a giveaway I won.

First off, I am doing a giveaway for my 400th post. I figure if you have stuck around for 400 post, you deserve a chance to win something. That something is a $20 gift card for T*rget. I do love that place and it is probably a good thing that it is a half hour away. I could spend hours and lots of money in that store! All you have to do is leave me a comment and I will select a winner on Sunday night. I would love if you would tell me a favorite thing you like to get at Target.

Okay now onto the second part. About a month ago I entered a giveaway on Ashley's blog. It was for Sesame Street Live which was coming to Columbus in June. I was so excited that I won 4 tickets to the show. I grew up watching Sesame Street since we didn't have all the 500 fancy cable stations that I have now! I knew the kids would love it. So the vouchers came in the mail, so I made a trip to Columbus to pick up the tickets. There you go Laurie the cat is out of the bag!!!  We chose Father's Day since the rest of the weekend was so booked up. We headed to Columbus after church. The kids enjoyed checking out the theater and then the show.

At intermission, they brought out these large obnoxious  balloons that were for sale. We said no but lady behind us went ahead and bought Logan one. Well of course this led to Madison being upset and who could blame her, so Aunt Court shelled out$10 for another balloon. Of course then they ask you to keep the balloons down for the rest of the show, seriously! So I ended wrestling two balloons for the rest of the show and then trying to keep them out in the wind and on the way home. GOOD TIMES FOLKS!

Of final stop of the day was F*rehouse Subs. Of my goodness these subs were sooooo good and my brother ate for free because it was Father's Day.

Love, love, love the show!! That looks like a blast! And we have Firehouse Subs here too- aren't they the BEST! I like their pop machines, with like 100 choices! :) Glad you had fun with your winning tickets. :) If I win the Target give-away I will be using the money to buy the kids school supplies. We did most of the buying last week, but this would help me finish it out, which would be nice!

Our family has seen Sesame Street live a few times. Usually we have a family outing when the next kid turns about 3 or 4 years old and can sit through the whole performance.

Target is an awesome store! We check out the dollar aisle every trip and find some goody. If I won the giveaway I would probably spend the gift card on school supplies.

Congrats on your 400th post!

Congrats on #400!! LOVED Sesame Street. That theatre looks so beautiful!

Target -- we have a love/love relationship -- I love it and Target loves to get my $$$. I would probably spend it on school supplies as it is coming up fast. Enjoy the rest of your time off!

Congratulations on your 400th anniversary! Woo hoo for a Target give-away too. It's amazing how quickly those blog posts add up. What a great outing to Sesame Street. Your niece and nephew are so darn lucky that you spoil them so.

Oh my goodness that looks like so much fun!! Lilly and Reid LOVE balloons. We got them two HUGE ones for Valentine's Day and they would NOT deflate. EVER. After a few weeks I just had to cut a hole in them. Ha!

Well I LOVE Target. I have so many memories of just taking the kids there to just get out of the house and walk around when they were babies! I always check out the dollar spot, the shoes, the toys, and the books when I go!

oh I love Target. That's my most favorite store. I love their clothes, cheap jewelry, kids items, pool toys, etc. Love Love.

I love the Elmo pictures. We took Lauren once when she was little and about died at the cost of the balloons, crazy!!

Lauren won't start kindergarten this year. Her birthday is Oct 29 so she goes next fall :)
