Take You Grandparent To School Day

Logan's preschool hosted a special day just for grandparents. My mom and dad went to share the day with Logan. They do a wonderful job organizing a fun day for everyone involved. The day is a western theme complete with a hay ride. They have a program for the grandparents as well as stations set up for the children and grandparents to visit. I made sure my parents had their camera charged up and ready to go. I had to laugh when I got the camera card because it had numerous pictures of the ground as well as a self portrait of my mom. Apparently I need to give some summer workshops on how to use the camera! BTW- I spared you those pictures!!!!

I am getting ready for the final days of school. Today we have bubble day, tomorrow is the awards ceremony and Thursday is the last day-HOORAY!!!

A Visit to C*amp Ta*rzan

I am still here, just behind in reading and writing. Everything is super busy with the end of the year. We have 7 days to accomplish everything, and I am not sure I am going to make it! It always gets done but it is stressful. We having summer like weather and the I kids are in total summer mode!

At the end of April, Logan and I got the chance to visit Ca*mp Tar*zan. Our high school put on that as their spring play and they planned a kids event before the play. We arrived and sat down for a zoo show, and then they had about 10 fun stations for the kids to do. It was the perfect event and I am so happy with all the hard work the students (some of them my former students) put in to make it a great evening. I am hoping they do more events like this in the future. We ended up not staying for the play, it was getting close to bedtime and we hadn't had dinner. Logan had a great time, so that is what really matters.

Ready, Set, Roll

I am staying really busy. I have a feeling by the time June gets here, I will be ready to crash. Don't fret, it has been lots of fun stuff, with a little bit of work thrown into the mix! We are down to 12 days of school with students, man that is not a lot of time. Next week we start end of the year tests, I can't believe it is that time. I am loving having my Friday's off. Tomorrow Madison and I are heading out for a girls day out. Saturday, I am hoping to finish off my closet switch and then of course Sunday is Mother's Day! I hope you all have a blessed Mother's Day weekend with your families.

Logan and I made a trip to the skating rink in April. It is amazing to see how much he has improved and he is almost ready to let go and go on his own. He loves to do the Hokey Pokey with a little help from Aunt Court. I am hoping we get some more practice time this summer so he can improve his skills.
