Playdate

I am still working on editing pumpkin farm pictures so it will be a few days on those, but I thought I would go ahead and post this from a few weeks ago.

Logan got a surprise when Kaylei showed up at my grandparent's house to spend the afternoon with us. Her dad is the minister at our church and they had to take some of the church kids to the local camp and they were out of car space for Kaylei so we volunteered to take her for the afternoon. She proclaims to be Logan's babysitter (she is only 4), and always takes good care of him at church. She has been fretting for weeks now about how she is going to take care of all the babies in the nursery! Logan is mesmorized by Kaylei and luckily for the most part she tolerates him. She informed me on this day that she will only take pictures with Logan! She also informed me that I can babysit her and her husbands kids!! Enjoy the pictures.

Also I would like to ask for prayers for all the little ones in our school and the pregnant teachers.  Monday brought lots of confirmed cases of swine flu and many more at home with fevers. I spent my day cleaning the room and reminding kids to wash their hands.

Logan is so happy that Kaylei is holding his hand. She usually doesn't like him to touch her.

Flashback Friday- The Pumpkin Patch

We are going to try to hit the pumpkin patch this weekend. A co-worker of mine has a family pumpkin patch that we went to last year, so we are planning on  heading there again on Sunday.  They have a corn pool, and barrel train, plus lots of pumpkins and picture taking opportunities. It is hard to believe that this is their last weekend for the season!

Tomorrow I am going to have Logan and Madison on my own for the first time and I am so excited! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

New Frames

Last weekend I was searching around on Etsy and found some adorable frames for fall. At first I was just going to order one and put both picture in it but then I fell in love with a second frame so I ordered it too! The seller is wonderful to work with and personalized both frames for me. The are adorable and look so cute on my shelf. Please stop over at SavananhSquares and check out all her lovely frames!

What Day Is It?

I think I have asked this question about 20 times this week. I have been so busy that I have lost track of what day it is! School is in full swing now and I am having a great year. I have such an incredible class this year, that I want to savor every minute with them because they are so much fun. The kids have all adjusted well and learning is in full swing. I have been keeping bysy planning, grading and getting ready for my upcoming evaluation (it is next Tuesday). I am also excited that we have next Friday off, so hopefully I can do some catching up.

I will be spending  most of the weekend with Logan, since he is needing a break from his baby sister (he slapped her upside the head tonight). We have busy weekend plans. Our first stop will be at Emma June's adoption/birthday party on Saturday morning. In the afternoon we will be attending my parent's neighborhood picnic. On Sunday evening we will be at our church's fall hayride party. I will need a weekend to recover from the weekend.  I hope everyone has a fun fall weekend!

Logan is so amazed with pumpkins this year.  He calls this one Pap's pumpkin and will tell you that it needs a bath. This was my first attempt at editing with black and white with color.

What's For Lunch

This is my first year to really start packing my lunch. I usually grabbed something in the cafeteria or ran through Subway. Fast forward to this year when I only have a 30 minute lunch which includes escorting kids to where the need to go, visiting the ladies room, and checking my mailbox, so I am having to pack my lunch to save time. I knew I wanted a cute lunch box, so I decided  I would use the plastic grocery bags until I could find a perfect one. This girl was not about to settle! So after many hours of searching I found the perfect lunch box. It arrived last Thursday and I must say that my leftovers have tasted much better. I justified this purchase by all the money I have saved packing my lunch. So I am sure by now you are wondering where I got this miracle lunch box that makes my leftovers taste delicious. Check out Whitney Caroline designs on my sidebar, you will not be disappointed. Happy Monday. I hope everyone has a happy and healthy week!

Flashback Friday

Logan -1 Day Old

Update_ Madison is now weighing  9 lbs 1 oz. Logan is still not a fan. He has been spending most of his days trying to wake her up, climb in her bassinet and pack and play! Happy Friday!
